Eagles Part Ways With Offensive Coordinator Kevin Patullo After Disappointing Season

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles have officially parted ways with offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo, ending his tenure with the team following a season that fell well short of championship expectations.

The move comes after months of mounting criticism surrounding the Eagles’ offensive struggles, particularly during the second half of the season and in their early playoff exit. Despite a roster loaded with elite talent, the offense failed to find consistency and rhythm in critical moments.

Patullo was promoted to offensive coordinator ahead of the season after serving in multiple offensive roles under head coach Nick Sirianni. However, the unit never fully clicked, drawing frustration from fans and analysts alike as scoring production dipped and late-game execution became a recurring issue.

Team sources confirmed the decision was part of a broader evaluation of the coaching staff following the playoff loss, with the organization determined to take the offense in a new direction.

A Season of High Expectations

Entering the year, the Eagles were widely viewed as Super Bowl contenders once again. With quarterback Jalen Hurts under center and one of the league’s most dangerous offensive weapons at every position, expectations were sky-high.

Instead, the offense sputtered in key games, struggled to sustain drives, and failed to capitalize on momentum in several late-game situations. The inconsistency ultimately proved costly when the team was eliminated earlier than expected in the postseason.

What’s Next

With Patullo now out, the Eagles are expected to begin an immediate search for a new offensive coordinator — a hire that could shape the future of the franchise.

Philadelphia’s front office is expected to prioritize a proven play-caller with a track record of maximizing quarterback play and building aggressive, adaptable offensive systems.

As the offseason begins, change is clearly underway in Philadelphia.
