


BREINIGSVILLE, Pa. — Emergency crews from across Lehigh County responded to a working house fire in the 9600 block of Haas Hill Road in Breinigsville that was quickly upgraded to a second alarm.
Firefighters arrived to find a two-story residential structure with smoke showing and active fire conditions inside the home. Due to the intensity of the blaze, additional companies were requested to assist with suppression efforts.
Crews laid approximately 1,200 feet of hose line to establish a water supply as they worked to bring the fire under control.
One person was injured during the incident. The extent of the injuries has not yet been released.
No additional injuries have been reported at this time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by local fire officials.
