EASTON, Pa. — Two people were injured and a suspect is now in custody following a stabbing incident Monday night in the City of Easton, according to police.
Easton Police responded around 8:45 p.m. to the 1300 block of Ferry Street for reports of a stabbing. Authorities say the suspect, identified as Deshauan Gale, allegedly stabbed two individuals during the incident.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police say their injuries are not considered life-threatening, and both are expected to survive.
Investigators confirmed that the suspect and victims knew each other, suggesting the incident was not random.
Gale was taken into custody without further incident and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday morning on multiple assault-related charges.
Police have not released additional details as the investigation remains ongoing.
Easton Police continue to review evidence and interview those involved.
