ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A motor scooter rider has died following a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle Friday night in Allentown.
According to the Allentown Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of South Fourth Street at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.
The female motor scooter was transported by Allentown EMS to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Allentown Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit in coordination with the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office and Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
Authorities said no additional information would be released at this time.
