NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Authorities say a fire that broke out Sunday morning in Northampton Township, Bucks County is now being investigated as arson, with two juveniles identified as suspects.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 8:30 a.m. to the 1800 block of Buck Road in Holland for reports of a building fire at the former Mill Race Inn, a long-vacant historic structure.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and fire conditions and worked to bring the blaze under control. The building sustained significant damage, with portions of the structure left heavily charred.
Following the initial investigation, officials determined the fire was intentionally set, and the case has now been classified as an arson investigation.
Police confirmed that two juveniles have been identified in connection with the fire. At this time, no additional details regarding charges or their identities have been released.
Earlier in the investigation, authorities released an image of two individuals seen in the area around the time of the fire and asked for the public’s help in identifying them.
The Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals pictured, who were seen in the area of this morning’s fire.
