One person was rushed to the hospital after a crash that closed Route 309 in Bucks County for hours on Thursday. A Sterling crane truck crashed in the southbound lanes around 7 a.m. in West Rockhill Township, near Telford, state police said. The truck drifted onto the left shoulder, then the driver abruptly turned right, causing the truck to overturn, police said. The driver, a 52-year-old man from Ringoes, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the police. Route 309 south was closed for hours while crews towed the truck and cleaned up the scene. The roadway reopened after 3 p.m. Any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact the police at 215-249-9191.
