PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — The Philadelphia Eagles are bringing back a familiar and reliable weapon for their offense.
The team has re-signed tight end Dallas Goedert to a one-year contract, keeping the veteran playmaker in Philadelphia for the upcoming season.
Goedert, who has spent his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles, remains one of quarterback **Jalen Hurts’ most trusted targets in the passing game. The deal allows the Eagles to maintain continuity on offense while providing flexibility as the organization continues shaping its roster for the 2026 season.
The 31-year-old tight end is coming off another productive season in which he recorded 60 receptions for 591 yards and 11 touchdowns, giving the Eagles a reliable option over the middle of the field and in the red zone.
Since being drafted by Philadelphia in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Goedert has developed into one of the league’s most dependable tight ends. Over his career with the Eagles, he has totaled more than 400 receptions, over 4,600 receiving yards, and 35 touchdowns.
Keeping Goedert also preserves stability at the tight end position for the Eagles offense as the team prepares for another competitive season in the NFC.
The one-year agreement ensures Goedert remains in midnight green for at least one more season while continuing to serve as a key part of Philadelphia’s offensive attack.
