HILLTOWN TWP., Pa. — Authorities are investigating after human remains were discovered over the weekend in Bucks County.
According to initial reports, the discovery was made Saturday near the intersection of Route 313 and Webb Drive in Hilltown Township. Members of a group conducting a voluntary roadside cleanup alerted police after coming across what appeared to be human remains.
Law enforcement responded to the scene and secured the area as part of an active investigation. Officials have not yet released details regarding the identity of the remains or how long they may have been at the location.
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office is expected to assist in determining the identity and cause of death.
At this time, it remains unclear whether foul play is suspected. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
