
PLUMSTEADVILLE, Pa. — Emergency crews responded Thursday afternoon to a transformer fire that spread into a nearby building along Easton Road in Bucks County.
The incident occurred at 6182 Easton Road in Plumsteadville, where firefighters were dispatched after reports of a transformer fire that had extended to a structure.
Fire crews worked to control the fire while dealing with damage to part of the building, including a partial collapse of a section of the structure during the incident.
Additional tanker units were requested to assist with water supply operations as crews continued working to contain the fire and secure the scene.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported.
Emergency crews remained on scene as of around 3:00 p.m. as firefighters monitored the situation and ensured the fire was fully under control.
The cause of the transformer fire has not yet been released.
