


Fire crews were dispatched to Tohickon Valley Park at 127 Cafferty Rd. in Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania, following reports of a female hiker who fell while navigating the high rocks. Initially, the situation was dire as she was reported to be unconscious, prompting officials to place a medical helicopter on standby. Thankfully, the helicopter was ultimately deemed unnecessary.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) promptly transported the victim to a local hospital for further evaluation and care. Firefighters dedicated approximately an hour to ensure the safe extraction of the victim from the woods, successfully getting her into the hands of EMS professionals for treatment.
