ALLENTOWN, Pa. — William Allen High School was evacuated Wednesday morning after a reported bomb threat, marking the second consecutive day the school faced a separate threat.
Allentown police said officers responded to Allen High School at approximately 10:29 a.m. Wednesday. Patrol Division officers and members of the Community Outreach Unit worked with school administrators and the Allentown Fire Department to clear the building.
No threat was found. The incident remains under criminal investigation, police said.
The evacuation came one day after a separate bomb threat led to the school being evacuated Tuesday. A 16-year-old juvenile was taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats in connection with Tuesday’s incident, according to police.
Anyone with information about Wednesday’s threat is asked to contact the Allentown Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at 610-437-7721.
