Timing: 1 PM to 9 PM
Main threats:
Damaging wind gusts and locally heavy rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.
The greatest severe storm threat is expected south of Philadelphia, but storms are still possible across our area.
Today’s forecast calls for showers and thunderstorms with a high near 83. Rainfall amounts of a quarter to half inch are possible, with locally higher totals in storms.
