NEW BRITAIN BOROUGH, Pa. — A Bucks County man is facing felony charges after prosecutors say he created and possessed child sexual abuse material using artificial intelligence software.
Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan announced the arrest of Harry Tiffany IV, 66, of the 300 block of East Butler Avenue in New Britain Borough.
According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Tiffany was charged with felony counts of sexual abuse of children, possession of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility.
Prosecutors said the investigation began on May 20, 2026, after the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children forwarded CyberTips received from X.AI LLC. The reports allegedly involved image files uploaded or shared through the Grok chatbot interface between April 15 and April 25, 2026.
Bucks County Detectives said they reviewed account data and digital records, which investigators allege were connected to Tiffany’s residence and personal electronic devices.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Tiffany’s home on June 5. According to prosecutors, a preliminary examination of a mobile device showed the Grok application was active and logged into the account flagged in the CyberTips.
Tiffany was arraigned Tuesday morning before Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage. Bail was set at $200,000, 10 percent.
The District Attorney’s Office said the case comes as Bucks County continues legal action against major technology companies over child safety concerns involving social media platforms, gaming platforms, and artificial intelligence tools.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office credited the Plumstead Township Police Department, Central Bucks Regional Police Department, Horsham Township Police Department, and the Bucks County ICAC team for assisting with the investigation.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
