EAST GREENVILLE, Pa. — Fire and hazmat crews responded to an ammonia leak inside the Home City Ice building in East Greenville around 1 p.m. Monday.
Crews reported elevated readings inside the building. Residents nearby were advised to shelter in place, turn off outside air systems and close their windows.
The leak was reported at the facility in the 100 block of Washington Street. Additional information about the leak and any injuries was not immediately available.
**Update** as of 3:08 pm on 10/19, Shelter in Place has been lifted.
