A fire in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, broke out around 1 PM in the 5600 block of East Lane. The blaze quickly spread to multiple alarms as it also ignited nearby fields and brush. Fire companies from the surrounding area rushed to the scene to bring it under control before further damage could occur.
A multi-alarm residential fire has also spread to the surrounding fields in Upper Macungie.
