

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. — A motorcyclist is dead following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 78 East in Lehigh County on Sunday morning, officials confirmed.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around mile marker 58.9 on I-78 East, between West Emaus Avenue and West Rock Road in Salisbury Township.
According to a news release from the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the crash involved a motorcycle, a tractor-trailer, and another passenger vehicle.
The victim, an adult male, was found lying on the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending family notification. The coroner’s office is assisting Pennsylvania State Police with the ongoing investigation.
