
ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Fire crews responded early Friday morning to an apartment building fire in the City of Allentown that included a report of entrapment.
The fire was reported at 1746 S. Hall Street, where crews arrived to find an elderly female on a third-floor balcony. Firefighters worked at the scene as the incident was upgraded for a possible rescue situation.
According to early reports from the scene, the fire was located in a utility closet in the basement of the building. Crews were able to address the fire while also checking the building and assisting occupants.
No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
