CUPERTINO, Calif. — Apple is unveiling its newest lineup of products Wednesday during its annual September event, with new iPhones, Apple Watches and AirPods among the major announcements.
The event, being held at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, is one of the company’s biggest product launches of the year and is expected to highlight upgrades across Apple’s most popular devices.
One of the biggest announcements is the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The new Pro models feature Apple’s latest A20 Pro processor along with expanded Apple Intelligence features and improvements to Siri.
Apple is also making several camera upgrades to the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, including an updated 48-megapixel main camera and additional controls aimed at improving photography and video capabilities.
The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to start at $1,199, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to start at $1,299.
Apple is also introducing the Apple Watch Series 12, continuing updates to its smartwatch lineup with new health, fitness and performance features.
The company also announced the next generation of its popular wireless earbuds with the AirPods 5.
Another major announcement being closely watched is Apple’s potential entry into the foldable smartphone market. Reports ahead of Wednesday’s event indicated the company could unveil its first folding iPhone, putting Apple in direct competition with other manufacturers already offering foldable devices.
Software and artificial intelligence are also expected to remain a major focus, with Apple continuing to expand Apple Intelligence across the iPhone, iPad, Mac and other devices.
