SELLERSVILLE, Pa. — Firefighters responded Monday to a garage fire in the 600 block of Lawn Avenue after a detached double garage became fully engulfed in flames.
The fire threatened homes on both sides of the garage, prompting a significant response from area fire departments. Crews were able to quickly contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading into the neighboring residences.
At least one nearby home sustained damage from the fire, though the full extent of the damage has not yet been determined.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters remained on scene extinguishing hotspots and investigating the cause of the fire, which has not yet been released.
