PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles are placing quarterback Jalen Hurts on injured reserve, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.
Schefter reported that the decision came after consultations with numerous doctors and experts on Saturday. The move will sideline Hurts indefinitely.
Hurts was recently ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers after a superficial blood clot was found in his calf. The Eagles had been evaluating the condition and determining the appropriate course of treatment.
