UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. — Upper Saucon Township officials have approved zoning amendments that move forward plans for a major mixed-use development proposed for a large tract near the Promenade Saucon Valley.

The Upper Saucon Township Board of Supervisors voted Monday night to approve changes tied to a proposed 130-acre development known as Promenade Park.

Developers Arcadia Land Company and Realen Properties previously presented the project as a large-scale mixed-use concept planned for the former Stabler Corporate Center property, also known as Stabler Pathways.

The site sits between the Promenade Saucon Valley shopping center and nearby office complexes within the township’s Enterprise Overlay Zone.

According to project plans discussed by township officials, the zoning modifications are intended to accommodate the scale and layout of the proposed development.

The land is owned by LU Properties LLC, an affiliate of Lehigh University.

Further land development approvals and project details are expected to come before township officials as the proposal advances through the planning process.
